In July 2024, the Association relaunched a service for men and boys at the Beth Jacobs Clinic. On the first Wednesday in each month, starting at 3 pm, the clinic is open to men and boys. A team of volunteers offer free basic health checks (weight, blood pressure and blood sugar), health education, counselling and referral for prostate examination to men and boys.

This evidence-based programme started in 2022 with support from IPPF’s Investment Voucher Initiative. That support was used to conduct qualitative research with men and boys in St. Ann and to share the findings with partners in the CSO and government sectors. Partnership with the Gender and Development Studies Unit of the University of the West Indies at Mona, contributed to the development of an education and outreach programme for men and boys. [Read SRHR Activity Manual – Boys to Men here]
